David Goodale was a C-17 Instructor Pilot at the Altus Air Force Base. David served as a Sunday School Teacher and Disciple- maker at Martha Road. For several years David attended the Key Man Invitational Discipleship Conference with other men from Martha Road. This was always a big sacrifice for the Goodale family because his wife’s birthday usually was around the date of the conference. But Jacque always insisted that David go, because she knew it was making him a better man and disciple maker. David was diagnosed with a brain tumor on November 22, 2015 and died on December 16, 2016. For that whole year of hospitalization, David was the personification of Romans 1:16. David never stopped sharing the gospel and making disciples. In honor of David’s life, we created the annual David Goodale Spiritual Triathlon. The triathlon highlights three important things in David’s life:

1.      Scripture Memory

2.      Reading the Bible

3.      The Key Man Invitational Conference
