Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

Support missions. Reach North America. Share the Gospel.

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is a powerful opportunity to partner in spreading the hope of Christ across the United States and Canada. Every dollar given goes directly to support missionaries serving through the North American Mission Board, helping plant churches, strengthen communities, and bring the Gospel to people who need it most.

This offering, championed by the Southern Baptist Convention, fuels evangelism efforts in cities, small towns, college campuses, and underserved areas all across North America.

This Easter season, give generously. Pray faithfully. Be part of changing lives for eternity.

Together, we can take the Gospel further.

Father Daughter Banquet

Martha Road Baptist Church is excited to host the 21st Annual Father–Daughter Banquet on Friday, March 27, 2026.

This special evening gives fathers and their daughters the opportunity to enjoy a semi-formal event together where daughters can dress up and feel celebrated. The heart behind this cherished tradition is to encourage and remind young ladies of the respect, care, and value they deserve as they grow and one day begin dating. Fathers play an important role in setting the example of how their daughters should be treated by a future husband.

This year’s theme, “Ties and Tiaras,” invites dads and daughters to have fun and get creative as they dress up together as a pair.

Big Day of Serving

Working as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ

The Big Day of Service is a culmination of coordination, bringing the community together to help homeowners.

We partner with the Jackson County Ministerial Alliance to bring together a diverse group of people to help homeowners in the city of Altus, OK.  The church is not just the building we worship in but it is the people who come together and show the grace of God to others.

19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”- Matthew 18:19-20

GPBA Kids Camp

GPBA Kids Camp

The Great Plains Baptist Associational Kids Camp is designed especially for boys and girls who have completed 3rd grade through completed 6th grade. This exciting week of camp provides a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where kids can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and make unforgettable memories.

Theme: Pivot — Turning Hearts Toward Jesus

This year at Kids Camp, the theme “Pivot” will help kids discover the joy and power of turning to God. Just like a pivot changes direction, we want every child to learn what it means to turn away from sin and turn toward a life with Jesus. Through engaging Bible lessons, fun activities, worship, and meaningful conversations, campers will hear the good news of the Gospel and understand how much God loves them.

Our focus verse, Acts 3:19, reminds us: “Therefore, repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away...” Throughout the week, kids will learn that repentance means more than saying sorry—it means choosing a new direction and following Jesus every day.

We pray this camp will be a life-changing time where hearts are encouraged, faith grows stronger, and children boldly share the love of Christ with others. It’s time to Pivot—turn, trust, and follow Him!

Registration will open soon!

Neighborhood Easter Block Party

What if Easter started right in your own neighborhood?

We’re inviting YOU to host a Neighborhood Easter Block Party in your yard, driveway, or cul-de-sac! It’s a simple, fun way to bring your neighbors together and create an opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel.

Romans 1:16 reminds us, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation…” This is a beautiful chance to live that out — boldly, joyfully, and right where God has placed you.

We’ll provide everything you need to make it a great event — signage, a bounce house, yard games, popcorn machine, snow cone machine, and Gospel materials. You provide the volunteers and invite your neighbors!

Target weekends: March 21st & March 28th

This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, share the Gospel, and personally invite families to our Easter Service.

If you’re interested in hosting or helping, email Samuel Borrego at Samuel@martharoad.org.

Sanctity of Human Life Day

Sanctity of Human Life Day

On January 22, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation designating the third Sunday of January as National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

Pastors, churches and life organizations across the United States use this day to bring awareness to the attacks that are daily waged against human life through the abortion industry.

One of the best ways we can protect unborn lives is by bringing into the light the darkness of abortion, and supporting local Pregnancy Help Organizations who daily reach women and families with messages of hope and life.

The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
-Isaiah 49:1

Grief Share Provides Help and Encouragement for People Who Are Grieving

Of all the difficult things life throws at people, the death of a loved one is one of the hardest. Whether it’s a spouse, child, sibling, parent, or friend, learning to carry on without them can feel like too much to ask. For the last four years Martha Road Baptist Church has offered help for those who are hurting because of the loss of loved ones. The Grief Share program is biblically based and is offered exclusively through churches. The program is non-denominational and open to people of all faiths or no faith at all.

Grief Share is a 13-week program designed specifically for people who have lost a loved one through death. It consists of instructional videos, a workbook with readings and exercises, and group sessions. Grief Share is facilitated and led by people who understand because they have also grieved the death of a loved one. The $30 workbook is the only expense and participants are encouraged to participate as much as they would like at no additional cost.

The Martha Road Baptist Church Grief Share program will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM beginning January 7th, in Room 117 at Martha Road Baptist Church. To register text the word “GRIEF” to 580-482-3377 or call 580-482-3377

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially.

This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. It is a valuable part of Southern Baptists’ 175-year history of reaching the nations with the gospel and vital to reaching the vision of a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9).

Surely there can be no greater joy than that of saving souls. – Lottie Moon
