Womens Precepts Bible Study

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. - Joshua 1:8

Women, join us September 11th as we begin a 7 Week Bible Study on the Book of Ephesians

*Optional introductory lesson September 4th

What You Will Discover:

Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, targeted by grace, sons of God united in a single family, inheritors, holy, redeemed, forgiven, raised from the dead and seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies! How can you not study Ephesians!? Before Paul even hints at how believers should live, he lays a rock-solid foundation: who we are in Christ! If you think you're just a cog in a machine, if you don't know your true identity, then this study is for you. Praise God for what He planned in eternity past and is waiting to reveal to you now . . . through the study of His Word. Learn who and what you are in Christ and you'll want to walk God's ways the rest of your life!

We will be meeting here at the Church every Thursday at 10am for 7 Weeks.

Childcare will be provided.

Deadline to sign-up is August 29th.

If you are interested in joining us please contact Cindy Baker @ 432-599-2804

Big Day of Serving

Working as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ

The Big Day of Service is a culmination of coordination, bringing the community together to help homeowners.

We partner with the Jackson County Ministerial Alliance to bring together a diverse group of people to help homeowners in the city of Altus, OK.  The church is not just the building we worship in but it is the people who come together and show the grace of God to others.

19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”- Matthew 18:19-20

Men’s Bible Study Fellowship

Join us Sunday Nights this fall.

We will be starting a new book named Exile and Return.

Exile and Return, invites you on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story—we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.

The Lord's Supper

23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.

25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, and said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.- 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

Grief Share

Grief Share Provides Help and Encouragement for People Who Are Grieving

Of all the difficult things life throws at people, the death of a loved one is one of the hardest. Whether it’s a spouse, child, sibling, parent, or friend, learning to carry on without them can feel like too much to ask. For the last four years Martha Road Baptist Church has offered help for those who are hurting because of the loss of loved ones. The Grief Share program is biblically based and is offered exclusively through churches. The program is non-denominational and open to people of all faiths or no faith at all.

Grief Share is a 13-week program designed specifically for people who have lost a loved one through death. It consists of instructional videos, a workbook with readings and exercises, and group sessions. Grief Share is facilitated and led by people who understand because they have also grieved the death of a loved one. The $30 workbook is the only expense and participants are encouraged to participate as much as they would like at no additional cost.

The Martha Road Baptist Church Grief Share program will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM beginning August 27th, in Room 117 at Martha Road Baptist Church. To register text the word “GRIEF” to 580-482-3377 or call 580-482-3377

Theme: Synergy

Join us for a day of SYNERGY as teenagers from all corners of Oklahoma go to all corners of Oklahoma for the Youth Evangelism Conference! This newly formated ONE-DAY event is more than just a gathering—it’s a regionally unified, statewide movement that ignites hearts, empowers minds, and equips teenagers to boldly share their faith.

Join us as we come together, united in purpose, to make a difference for our King and His Cause!

Kids Camp Reunion

Kids Camp Reunion

Parents and leaders, bring your kids and join us for a time of worship and fellowship on Sunday August 3rd, here at Martha Road Baptist Church.

This event is focused to Children’s Ministry. We will be looking back at our June preteen camp.

Blake Taylor, Worship Pastor and Associate Pastor of FBC Anadarko will be leading Worship and will also be our special speaker for the night.

Blake Taylor and Codi, his beautiful bride and partner in ministry have been married since 2013.  They have a blended family with five beautiful children: two sons, Creed and Ezra, and three daughters Bently, Asher & Grace. His family has served King Jesus in the Gospel Ministry for seven years.  Their vision and desire is to see the Kingdom of God expanded in Caddo County. They believe God will accomplish this through his sons and daughters living on mission in full surrender to King Jesus.  They want to meet people where they are, love them with their lives, and show them what the family of God looks like.

Along with the rally for the Kids, there will be an adult Investment time for all leaders and volunteers led by Emily Pickrell.

Emily and her family moved to Frederick in 2023 and soon after she joined FBC Frederick as Children's Director. Emily loves children and teaching them about the love of Jesus. Emily has a husband, Chris and together they have three amazing children Charlie, Rose, and Paisley. Emily and her family love Frederick and are excited about doing ministry at FBC.

We will have Worship, Games, Giveaways, and Free Food! You don’t want your kids to miss this!

Let us gather once more before they step back into their mission field (school).

Falls Creek 2025 (Youth Camp)

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”  James 4:10

We often think of spiritual growth as production and miss the fact that growth in the Christian life starts with and is dependent upon God’s work more than our effort. We think the answer is to work hard, to become disciplined, to fight when to level up, we must first become less. This isn’t easy and doesn’t come naturally.

This summer we will walk through James 4 and look at the attitudes with which we pursue a life of spiritual discipline in Christ. As believers, we are to take the posture of:
