Martha Road Baptist Church will hold its 21st annual Father-Daughter Banquet on Friday March 27th, 2026.

Each year this event has allowed fathers to bring their daughters to a semi-formal event where the girls can dress up. The core value of the yearly event is to reinforce for the girls how they should be treated when they begin dating. The banquet allows the fathers to set the standard for how they want their daughters treated by a ‘would-be future husband’”.

The Theme for this year’s event is “Pearls and Bowties.” This years’ theme will give the girls and dads a chance to be creative as they dress up as a couple.

Our speakers for the Father/Daughter Banquet this year will be Grant Findley and daughter, Ella Findley.

Grant will be speaking on the book of Esther and reminding fathers and daughters alike that we are all where we need to be "for such a time as this." Ella will be sharing her testimony of what that means in her life and how she is able to serve.

While Grant Findley is currently serving as Lead Pastor at First Baptist Church El Reno, he has served in various ministry roles across Oklahoma and the U.S. Grant began his journey into ministry when he obtained his Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Following that he served as the associate director at the UCO BCM for 6 years. Then he felt God calling him and his family west to serve on staff at North Phoenix Baptist Church, where he served with college students and young families. In 2020, God opened the doors for him and his family to return to Oklahoma and pastor at El Reno.

Ella Findley is a sophomore at El Reno High School. She serves in various extracurricular activities including FFA and cheer. Alongside those activities, Ella loves to serve. She serves in the church nursery, helps lead worship for the youth and church as well as FFA.
